Matching Records presents MATCHFEST
Music and Multimedia meet their Match in free DUMBO music fest
On Saturday, October 18th 2003 Matching Records is throwing a free event fusing music and video art within the breathtaking roofless walls of the historic Tobacco Warehouse on the Brooklyn waterfront. The twilight celebration will present some of New York's best-kept secret musical acts as part of the label's official launch, in conjunction with the seventh annual DUMBO Art Under the Bridge Festival, a three-day festival in which artists open their studios to the public. Flickering visual art and montage will attempt to serendipitously match the quirky, yet profound thrashings of the Mink Lungs, the cinematic, sonic explorations of the Bronx Monx, the eclectic, soul-felt music of Nervous Cabaret and the rock-meets-electro ticks, blips and beats of Burnside Project.
